Mantis Blades

Weapon Name: Mantis Blades
Description: The Mantis Blades are two short swords, which are attached to two different metal cables, which are placed inside two launchers. The idea of the weapon is this: The two launchers are tied around the forearms of a person. Then ten small wires are wrapped around each of person's fingers on each hand. When the user raises their hands with the palms facing in front of them with their fingers splayed out, then the wires are pulled, triggering the launchers, which fire out the cables with the swords aiming forward. As soon as the cable reaches its full length then the the swords are automatically reeled back towards the user and loaded back into the machine to be fired again. However, the user can grab the swords and use them in hand to hand combat instead of allowing them to be put away.
History: This weapon, and many others like it, are created and produced in the Grandline. A young man named Ken got his hands on specific one and now uses it to defend himself with his opponents get to close for comfort.
