description: It is one of the 12 Saijō Ō Wazamono (12 Supreme Grade Swords). It has a black sheath and the hilt of the blade is also black with red ropes around it for a better hold, the part dividing the hilt and the blade is a black square. The long blade is a pure beauty, it is black all over except 1/4 which are orange waves thus when slashing so hard the wind orange wind slicers would be sent.
weapon special abilities: Can turn into a big hammer.
history: Utakata's fate is renown that it is a disloyal weapon and history tells us that it simply didn't "obey" the commands of the users and thus being killed. It is a very dangerous weapon and only a few users could wield it and make it obey the user's commands.
Nait Meru had found it on a inhabited island in the middle of clearing stabbed into the ground and it took Nait some time to take it out.
As soon as it was taken out a whole platoon of bandits with cutlasses appeared as Naito triggered a trap. He tried slashing with the sword but it turned out heavy even for him. The cutlasses were going right at him but due to Naito's determination and will to survive he somehow was able to "convince" the cursed sword to lift it and slash away the attackers.
The defense was successes as he held out at least ten cutlasses at once with the katana and pushed them away.
Naito smiled as he swore that he is going to reach the end of the grand line with this sword. It seemed as the determination was the trigger to make the sword "listen" to the user. The young pirate-wanna be felt suddenly an easy to wield this weapon as it was lighter.
He straight forward jump into the fight and slashed fiercely through everyone of the bandits.
But instead of falling down in blood they disappeared.
A simple minded idiot like Naito though could not realize it was an unknown illusion and just walked away care freely .
